(primary and secondary schools). We also advance education at the tertiary stage. Advancing education within the tertiary stage of education involves assistance with the payment of school fees.
We Advance Pre-school Education.
Unfortunately, in Africa, state-funded preschool education is almost non-existent leading to numerous children missing out on the vital skills learning at that stage provides. We therefore work to advance education at this stage of education.
We Provide Teacher Training
spanning planning, delivery of learning concepts, assessment of learning outcomes. These trainings are created and designed by our Chair of trustees who is a UK-qualified teacher.
We Provide Adult Education
in literacy and numeracy.
We Offer Support To Primary And Secondary Schools Within Deprived Communities In Africa And Their Pupils And Communities By:
- creating, building and running new schools in deprived and remote African communities with non-existing or substandard schools
- supporting existing schools in Africa, including building new structures, if required, improving standards and supporting teacher training
- making materials or objects capable of educating such as libraries available to deprived schools and communities in Africa
- providing basic supplies, such as children’s clothes and shoes, books and other personal or educational supplies to help families, children and schools in Africa that are unable to afford them.
- providing payments of fees for instruction, examination, or other expenses connected with formal education, vocational training, language, literacy, numerical or technical skills
- providing habitable homes, good nutrition, and health support within African communities where these adverse social conditions have a proven link to low achievement in education
- teaching illiterate or innumerate adults in Africa to read, write, or understand maths
- supporting parents to engage more with their children’s education
- promoting motivational and aspirational learning, in the UK and Africa, through the development of links with industries and seasoned professionals, organisation of career-focussed events, workplace visits, or any other means the trustees see fit.
In the UK, we focus on working with primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and marginalised children who are out of school, promoting motivational and aspirational learning, through the development of links with industries and seasoned professionals. We organise career-focussed events and workplace visits.
